[Speaker Series] Professor Roland Fletcher – Urbanization and Dense Settlements Across Time

The Urban Studies team collaborated with the Yale-NUS Ancient Worlds Cluster to host a Public Lecture by the archaeologist Professor Roland Fletcher (University of Sydney). Prof. Fletcher is an expert on settlement growth and decline over time. He is author of The Limits of Settlement Growth, and lead scientist on the Greater Ankor Project, which has used remote sensing technologies to detect a dense and extensive rural-urban settlement typology.
